We’re grateful for the many people who have supported this endeavor. Over the last 8 months, we have completed construction on the building, hired key personnel, and purchased and installed the necessary manufacturing equipment.
Building
Our facility is in a newly constructed 60,000 sq ft building that is just south of the US-Mexico border in Tijuana. This brand-new building has dedicated office space (with break / lunch area), warehousing, an SMT room, and a final assembly area. Each space is finishing out its first phases for use in daily operations. We have plans to expand these areas as demand and personnel grow.
People
Our Operations Manager has been busy hiring a team of managers, engineers, and support personnel for the following departments: Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities, Warehousing, SMT, and HR.
Equipment
We have rounded out the first phase of our SMT room: ESD flooring installed and 2 SMT lines set up. This 5,000 square-foot room will accommodate additional lines and equipment as we grow!
